In the sequel to The Mummys Hand, Lon Chaney Jr. steps into the role of Kharis the 3000 year old mummy. This is the first of 3 Mummy movies with the Mummy Kharis. This series of films stand alone from the previous 2. A high priest transports the mummy and himself to Massachussetts to get revenge on the members of the Banning expedition that broke into the tomb of Princess Ananka. He takes a job at the local cemetry to disguise his scheme. In the process he falls in love with the fiance of Stephen Banning, the son of the original explorer. It proves to be his undoing. They used the main theme of the Wolfman for the main theme of this film. I guess it never hurts to recycle.
