If you are hearing this peom being recited, then you are watching one of the greatest films ever made. The 1941 classic The Wolfman. Excellently portrayed by Lon Chaney Jr.  This is a story of love and tragedy and a really cool monster. Aided by a gypsy woman named Maleva, Larry Talbot tries to rid himself of the curse of the werewolf put upon him by Bela the gypsy who was Malevas son.  Even though he was killed by the hand of his own father in the end, fortunately for us he would return to thrill us again 4 more times. Lon Chaney Jr. would not let anyone else play The Wolfman. It was his signature role. The films that followed the original was Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman, House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula, and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.
