The Revenge Of The Creature. Ah yes, the last of the 3D movies. Too bad, but at least they went out with a bang. Our favorite aqua fiend has returned from the Black Lagoon to give us more chills and thrills!  Ricou Browning returned to play the underwater Creature and Tom Hennessey got the role of the land Creature.  Why Ben Chapman wasn't asked no one knows. Julie Adams is absent also.  Nestor Paiva and the crew of the Rita return to the Black Lagoon to capture the Creature and bring him back to civilization for study. He is brought to Ocean Harbor Aquarium to be put on exhibition and trained to be tame so he can be studied. Fat Chance! Our gilman doesn't bow down to anyone and lives by his own rules. But he does have an eye for the ladies. Which is usually his undoing.  One interesting note: some film historians say that in the scene where the cardboard cutout of the Creature falls over, that is a message from the studio that this was the end of the 3D movie craze.  Also, Flippy the intelligent porpoise was developed into the Flipper tv show which was created by Ricou Browning.  Another quick fun fact : This was Clint Eastwoods first movie appearance. He played a lab assistant . Ricou Browning also had a cameo as a lab assistant. Don't blink. You might miss them. This was one of the few sequels which was made that was better than or equal to the original.
